Being that I am an old punk I spent way too many years absolutely hating this LP. But as I aged my loathing eventually turned to loving and now I understand exactly what a MONUMENTAL MASTERPIECE this really is. Is`nt it great how music humbles you and wins you over and teaches you things like that.....
This is an original 1973 UNITED KINGDOM FIRST and earliest pressing of one of the  greatest LP`s ever made. THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON by PINK FLOYD. To this day this album still sells a staggering 10,000 copies a week ,it will still be selling in 100 years !
Take your time and double click the pictures the sleeve is of course the very earliest "MIDNIGHT BLUE" shade of black and is in wonderful condition. Only the very slightest of ring ware to the back of the none laminated LP jacket and very slight edge ware.  The spine is totally undamaged. No fading anywhere on the outside of this gate fold  and inside of the sleeve is immaculate. The sleeve is graded as EXCELLENT . The original black inner sleeve and has a few creases but is undamaged, and the cellophane  is still completely and firmly attached. The original two PINK FLOYD "CRACK BACK" stickers are here and in MINT condition. As you can see in the pictures both of the original posters are here and have NEVER been hung by tape drawing pin or blue tac. The only creases they have are the factory fold creases put there by the manufacturer so are also graded as MINT. They have probably only ever been opened out a handful of times over the last 45 years. INCREDIBLE.
Side one this thick heavy hunk of UK 1970`s vinyl is beautiful. A deep glossy sheen with a  shimmer like black glass when tilted into the light. Wonderful condition. Under a bright spotlight you can see the very lightest hairlines that appear on any record that has been removed from its inner sleeve over time. There are spindle marks to the spindle whole of this FIRST PRESSING SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE HARVEST record label.
Side two is equally as fantastic. There are spindle trails as on side one but this record  has been loved and given the respect that a rare original FIRST PRESSING is due . Only when you search hard under spot light you can see the very lightest of hairlines that as I have stated they are on every LP that was ever removed from its inner sleeve. I have owned a dozen or so copies of this LP over the years and this is the best copy I ever owned. It plays EXCELLENTLY . This record plays entirely from start to end with no jumps skips or sticking and no unwanted noises to spoil the listeners enjoyment . This is a great copy the vinyl grades EXCELLENT minus. So a lovely example of one of the greatest LP`s ever recorded in its complete and ORIGINAL form with all the original components.
