PINK FLOYD - 'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON'
This UK 1st pressing of this iconic album dates from initial March 1973 release.
This early copy is on the black/solid blue triangle Harvest label: SHVL 804
Matrix numbers: SHVL 804 A-2 & SHVL 804 B-2
Stamper codes: 5/GDP & 1/RL
Disc weight: 140g
Housed in a stickered matt black/darkish blue 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover - rear pocket opening only.
100% complete with: 2 x posters, 2 x 'Fasprint/CrackBack' stickers & original black poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Each bear a number of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole, with a small blemish above the 'Side 2' indicator.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
This cherished disc is clean & bears no significant surface marks in strong daylight. There are some light wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal and a sparkling rainbow shine beneath halogen light.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
This copy has been played a number of times and as a consequence has some playwear which presents itself as light intermittent background in one channel which is audible during quieter passages. However, it is still very listenable and is free from any other audible distractions. It's not a final upgrade but an ccceptable until/if a better copy comes along.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fine example of this easily worn cover.
The front panel has minimal storagewear with two faint spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or any other signs of use.
There is a touch of wear to the front leading edge & tip of the lower right corner, but there are no bumps or bruising to any.
Both panels inside the gatefold are pristine.
The rear panel has an unavoidable faint disc impression from storage but again no 'thumbnails' or any other significant wear.
The unworded spine is clean & unworn and all seams are unstressed & unsplit.
Posters: EXCELLENT
Some light foxing to the white backs but these are still factory-folded and have never been hung.
Stickers: MINT
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
A few gentle storage wrinkles but no tears, writing or seam splits.
