PINK FLOYD-THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN 1971 COLUMBIA / EMI RECORDS UK IMPORT SCX 6157 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! A highly sought after Pink Floyd album and if you have to ask why, you may not want it. This version of the lp is insanely tough to get but it is the 1967 UK stereo import. The album is the only one recorded under Syd Barret's leadership as he well, went crazy not soon after. The notable cuts that appear on this release are Interstellar Overdrive and Astronomy Domine and for the Floyd fan, it's the Holy Grail. I truly hope the true fan picks this one up!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout and as much as I hate to put myself out there on a record this rare, it's not a stretch to even say a VG++ on the vinyl. The cover however has a couple of issues: it's import flimsy with a near split on the spine (about an 1" long), there is also light scuffing on the bottom portion of the spine as well. There is a light tinge of yellowing / agin on the back and the original inner sleeve is intact. An awesome buy!!
