Offered here is an original MFSL UHQR pressing of Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon, catalog MFQR 1-017, copy #2289. This is one of the most famous audiophile releases in the UHQR series, known for its exceptionally high-quality 200-gram pressing and outstanding sound.

This listing is for a player copy, not a collector-grade example. It includes all the original UHQR components except the outer plastic bag/shrink wrap and is ideal for someone who wants the legendary UHQR sound without paying sealed or NM collector prices. About the UHQR Edition

The MFSL UHQR series is one of the most respected audiophile lines ever produced, featuring:

This title is often regarded as one of the finest-sounding versions of Dark Side of the Moon. Today, a sealed version of this album costs more than my first car!

Condition

Vinyl: VG – PLAYER COPY

• Few visible surface marks and scuffs consistent with a VG grade

• Some surface noise is expected in quieter sections. Some pops and clicks

• Plays through cleanly without skips.

• Labels are in good shape.

This is meant for listening, not for archival display.

Box: Good

• Shows noticeable cosmetic wear: edge rubbing, shelf wear, and small dings typical of handling over time. Torn corners, both top and bottom boxes (see photos)

• Fully functional, but not collector-grade.

A friend always says “you don’t play the cover”. I can honestly say that the condition of the box has never affected the way the album sounds 😎

Even with the occasional surface noise, it still is an amazing sounding recording of this classic album. If you’ve never heard it, you will not be disappointed.
