POUND Private Press BLAXPLOITATION OST Charlie Cuva/Robert Downey SR. LP / EX+
SEE OUR OTHER RARE RECORDS & MEMORABILIA
Here is a rare private pressing/Blaxploitation soundtrack album titled POUND by Charlie Cuva with lyrics by Robert Downey Sr., in EX/EX+ condition, with some silent pressing marks, but playing perfectly. Generic cover has a rubber stamp and some chipping to top edge, 2" split to the top spine and some chipping (?) to the top back edge--but all very minor. As we are not experts in the genre, we've taken this description from a former seller:
"One of THE rarest and most sought after soundtracks of ALL TIME. An incredible LP with sadly no information about the musicians involved apart from the name Charley Cuva who is credited on the LP for the music. The term cult film is often over used - not in this case - it was made by Robert Downey senior (of Putney Swope fame) in 1970 and featured actors playing the parts of dogs in a surreal and crazy tale about a dog pound. The film is now legendary amongst heads that know and has never been reissued due to it's all round naughtiness. The LP cover has a stamp on the front saying "For God's Sake Do Not Broadcast". This gives you an idea of what is contained in the music which sits somewhat uncomfortably between blaxploitation and psychsploitation. Obscene lyrics sung with a funky punky attitude on the track which has become known as "Lame Motherf*cker" (there are no official track titles!) with lines like "Hate your face could you please have it lifted, Cauliflower soar your mother must have drifted..bow wow wow you're an ugly c*cksucker standing in the men's room waiting for a pucker" .. "Can't you see you're a lame motherf*cker, as* hole licker you're a bad coke cutter"..of the time they're some of the most confrontational and downright sordid lyrics ever recorded onto wax! There are other great tracks on this LP from soulfull beats, instrumental bluesy downtempo funk as well as funky skits with hilarious dialogue from the film. The promotional only LP is rumoured to be pressed around the 200 copies mark and was deleted before it's official release due to it's obscenitites, leaving the handfull of these copies to be passed around dealers and hardcore soundtrack collectors for years to come. This LP has popped up a couple of times in Ebay's lifetime and the demand has soared in recent years as people become more aware of it's existence and rarity." Do not miss this auction!

We welcome International buyers and ship around the world every week.
US & Canada Shipping: $9 for 1-2 LP's by insured Priority Mail (Ebay’s recent rule change requires us to offer Media Mail shipping for records, at $4.00 for 1 LP. As this is a very slow method of shipping and uninsured, we cannot guarantee safe delivery by this method and strongly recommend paying extra for the much quicker and safer Priority Mail.) $15 for 1-2 posters, shipped priority mail in a new mailer/tube & US orders are automatically insured for up to $200 in value. Calif. buyers add 8.75% sales tax (calculated automatically by Paypal.) All other items shipped at cost.
International Shipping: $16 for 1 LP airmail without insurance. $4 for each additional LP; $21 for 1-2 posters. All other items shipped at cost. Because of problems with the Italian Post Office, we highly recommend either insured or registered mail for all Italian orders and cannot be responsible for any order shipped to Italy without one or the other of these.
