Description
OK, this one's a bit special - the rarely-seen double album, 'Prehistoric Sounds of Led Zeppelin' on the BBC Transcription Services label. Catalogue number is CN ZOSO Vol I / Vol II , how cool is that??
Everything's in fantastic condition: slight bit of ringwear and creasing on the yellow die-cut BBC sleeve, plain white inner sleeves are fine. Discs themselves are in excellent shape, doesn't look like they've ever been played (but don't quote me on that!).
I think this came out in 1978 (on the label it says "Use expires 30.9.1978") although it also has BBC 1973 on the label.
No insert or info with this but from what I've learned on t'internet it contains a full live set from 1973 recorded in Stoke-On-Trent for the Beeb. Track listing seems to be:
Side 1 - Rock And Roll, Over The Hills And Far Away, Black Dog, Misty Mountain Hop Side 2 - Since I've Been Loving You, Dancing Days, Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp, The Song Remains The Same Side 3 - Whole Lotta Love, Rain Song Side 4 - Dazed & Confused
(But don't quote me on that either, as sources seem to vary!)
The yellow BBC sleeve states 'Copyright recording for radio broadcast only'.
I know this is worth a fair bit, but I'm starting it at 99P with no reserve. Am I nuts?!!?
Possibly, but I'd recommend actually bidding on it if you're interested, rather than just 'watching' and waiting until the last minute to bid. Because you might be disappointed...
