On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pretty Things called 'S.F. Sorrow' and is a VERY rare 1968 MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia 1st Press label!!!!  THIS IS A SERIOUSLY RARE LP AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  STEREO COPIES TURN UP OCCASSIONALLY - BUT MONO 1ST PRESSINGS VIRTUALLY NEVER DO!!!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE IN MONO!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABELS, 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE, AND A 1ST PRESS MONO GATEFOLD FLIPBACK 'E.J.DAY' LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK MONO 1st pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SX 6306 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Pretty Things at their best!!!! Any fan of The Pretty Things, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, a few light hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  The only other thing to mention is that under EXTREME light the record has a strange 'shine' to it - though I havent a clue what this is caused by. Maybe storage?  Or maybe the record has been cleaned at some point in the past? I havent a clue - but in any case this is only visible under EXTREME light and certainly does not affect the look or the play of this record (this record plays BRILLIANTLY)!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY (if not better) as the visual with only a VERY few clicks/pops (only a VERY few), NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and only some VERY slight crackle in a VERY few places!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!!  The record must grade visually Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - with the playing grade better still!!!!  THIS RECORD PLAYS BRILLIANTLY - IN SUPERB MONO!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press MONO Gatefold Flipback Laminated 'E.J.Day' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, only VERY slight roughening to the spine (colour PERFECT, and ALL spinal words are PERFECTLY readable), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), a few small laminate identations (NOT gouges - colour and laminate unbroken) and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!!  The only 2 VERY minor defects to mention is a TINY repaired tear (NO tape and PERFECTLY strong) towards the bottom of the front opening edge (VERY unnoticeable), and a TINY amount of what looks like 'yellowing' in the bottom left hand corner.  This is still a GREAT looking cover and MUST grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EASILY THE RAREST POSSIBLE PRETTY THINGS LP - AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
