Greetings,
For sale is my copy of Pretty Things' classic LP from 1968 - S.F. Sorrow. This is the first UK mono pressing. A beautiful piece of British recording history.
Please see the photos for condition. The sleeve is in VG shape with corner wear and a slightly torn front edge where you would pull the record out. Spine is a little damaged, no splits on the top or bottom of the gatefold. Inside the gatefold there is a name written on the top left and right corners (see photos). Non-original inner sleeve.
As for the condition of the disc itself I would rate it as VG. The main reason for this is that there is a tiny skip at the beginning of track one side one before the first line of the song is sung. The skip is not intrusive (especially as it is right at the beginning of the record!) but it is there nonetheless. Other than that a click for four revolutions on track 2 side one and a little surface noise from general play throughout the disc. I've played the entire disc through to give the most thorough description possible. Overall it has to be stated, the record sounds great. Sonically it is strong and punchy, a very distinctive mono mix and an absolute joy to listen to.
