Description

PRINCE 45s ~ 4 CLASSIC VINTAGE 45s ~ COOL, COLLECTIBLE & CLEAN PURPLE VINYL ~ CUSTOM LABELS
I've been going thru my massive vinyl record collection this summer and pulling out some 45s that I thought that someone else would want for their collection. I've been collecting records for over 40 years and it's time to pass some of them on to the next generation of collectors.
This week on EBay I am offering up these 4 great, clean, original, vintage mid-80s PRINCE 45s.
The Prince 45s in this lot include the following 4 records:
TITLE: 'PURPLE RAIN' / 'GOD' (SEPTEMBER 1984) TITLE: 'POP LIFE' / 'HELLO' (JULY 1985) TITLE: 'LETS GO CRAZY' / 'EROTIC CITY' (JULY 1984) TITLE: '1999' / 'HOW COME U DON'T CALL ME ANYMORE?' ( JANUARY 1983) LABEL:  PAISLY PARK / WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS
~~~ These great vintage 45s just ooze hipness and coolness. They are from the prime of Prince's musical journey, around the time of his breakthru period between '1999' and 'Purple Rain'.
The album '1999', released in the fall of 1982, was Prince's 4th album, but the one that got him National attention. It introduced his band The Revolution, and made the "Minneapolis sound" the go-to sound of the 80s in Pop. It was Prince's breakthrough album and has been ranked as one of the greatest albums of all time.
The song '1999' is a Prince classic. Timeless.
The Album 'Purple Rain' was released in the summer of 1984. It was a big hit, both commercially and culturally.
Purple Rain won 2 Grammys, three American Music Awards, two Brit Awards, and an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score. The album remained at No. 1 on the Billboard charts for 24 weeks.
Prince had finally arrived at the top of the music scene. Prince and the title song influenced both fashion and pop music for the  rest of the 1980s and beyond.
~~~~~ These records are in terrific condition. Clean, bright, shiny, no obvious flaws or damage. Both the vinyl and the labels look great. The labels are all clean and bright.
The only 'flaw' is that the '1999' 45 has some red marker on the label; a checkmark on the hit side and an X on the flip side. Other than that, the labels are all fantastic and clean. Prince, and his Paisley Park team, were signed to Warner, but they often used custom, colorful labels and they look great.
2 of them have their original picture sleeves, one has it's purple sleeve and the others come in new clean white 45 sleeves.
The picture sleeves have some mild wear, but overall they look great. See the enclosed photos for the best sense of condition.
The vinyl looks great on all of these 45s. One is on Purple vinyl, the rest standard black, as issued.
The sleeves have some very minor wear along the edges from years of storage, but still look great and are just cool to have with the 45s.
I'll include everything you see in the pictures, plus  new clean plain white sleeves for the ones that need.
This auction is for all 4 Prince together as one lot.
~~~~~~ I've had these Prince and the Revolution 45s in my collection for many years, basically since they were 'new' in the mid 80s.
I played them a few times, then put them away in my 45 vinyl collection. They've been hanging out there for over 30 years, and now they need a new home.
The condition on them is still fantastic. One owner, minimal plays and minimal handling. You'll love them!
Add these classic, timeless slices of the 80s to your collection today.
~~~~~~~~ What a Fabulous addition to your music collection or a great gift to put away for that special Prince fan or collector in your life. Please see the pictures for the best sense of the condition. And Please check out our other Vintage music items we have up this week for auction.
They don't get much better than this! Truly quality vintage Prince 45 rpm records - worthy of any music collection! To the right buyer, these hip cool Prince 45s are both a collectible and an investment! Prince records continue to be popular and have kept their value over the years.
~~~ I’m recently retired and downsizing and letting go some gems and rarities from nearly 45 years of vinyl record collecting. Check out the many other fantastic 45s and 33s coming soon to my page!
All records have been carefully evaluated and graded by me. I visually inspect all records under bright light, personally gently clean them with a cloth and then, if unsure, play them on a modern high-end turntable to get a true picture of condition. Please look at all the high-resolution pictures I added. They are all my own and are of the actual record being sold. The pictures are part of the description and can show small details, label variations, and condition better than I can put into words.
My grading is fair and honest and I will ALWAYS refund you for anything you’re not happy with. I have had over 3,200 happy and satisfied EBay customers over the years, with 100% positive feedback, and I have been buying/selling on EBay for well over 20 years, so please bid with confidence!
I'm a 0ne-man operation, this is a hobby, not my job. I do this for fun. I do this because I love music, love collecting vinyl and want others to share in that same experience. I take my time listening, researching, grading, listing and packaging. I will NOT sell any record that I personally would not want in my collection.
As you well know, packing and shipping rare records requires special care and attention, therefore, shipping cost within the lower 48 states is $5.00 on this group of 4 records. If you would like insurance, or anything faster than Media/Economy Mail, please let me know and I can arrange it for you. I’ll work with you to make sure you’re happy!
I will gladly combine multiple records, or other items on my page, and make the shipping much less for you. I don’t inflate the shipping costs; they are what they are. I strive to keep them as low as possible. See my feedback for comments on my quality packing and shipping.
All items are packaged with sturdy cardboard mailers and appropriate padding. I take pride in my packaging and shipping and package all my records as if I were sending them to myself. I refuse to use cheap flimsy packaging material when sending my vinyl. I treat them as if they were my own and mail them the same way.
All orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days of receipt. We package and ship our vinyl records with the greatest care, using proper packaging to ensure that your rare and collectible vinyl records arrive in pristine condition.
Payments can be made by any of the multiple options that Ebay offers.
I will be happy to exchange feedback with anyone I complete a transaction with.
THANK YOU for looking and reading if you got this far.  -- JOHN
