You are bidding on one of the best and rarest synth / avant / electronic albums ever to come out from Israel - "Mantra" by Israeli multi instrumentalist Arik Rudich
Rudich was a pioneer in the field Instrumental Electronic music. His first album Satallah (featured on Hans Pokora book) was prog rock oriented while his second album Mantra, recorded in 1987 as a private pressing, was a change of direction into electronic / minimal synth / avant / experimental field. For Mantra album Rudich collected 9 tracks recorded during the previous couple of years, most of them of a dark spacy atmosphere nature.
On "Mantra" Rudich used the recent innovations of that time in the field of electronic playing on DX-7 Synthesizer, Fairlight, Matrix-12, Moog, Synclavier, and much more...
His influences range from Kraftwerk to Klaus Schulze & Tangerine Dream, from Classical music to Ethnic, Iron Curtain, Short Wave Mystery, Class Info & Paul Nova to name a few.
It was one of the first albums in Israel to be recorded using digital technology.
Pressed only on vinyl a short time before the records industry switched into CDs. Due to the above reason as well as lack of a solid fan base in Israel for that genre the album sold poorly and was never released on CD.
This album remains one of the best records of this genre ever to come out of Israel.
Rare and hard to find nowadays !! This copy is in the best condition you'll find and also include the rare insert.

Packaging
Records are wrapped in bubble-nylon and packed in a high-quality heavy cardboard package. Record is being taken out of the sleeve to avoid damages while shipping.

Grading
I use "Record Collector" grading method (Mint, NM, EX, VG, etc.)
My highest grade for a non-sealed records is usually NM (Near Mint) I will grade it as Mint only if it's sealed or if I am 100% certain that this record was hardly ever played and has no pressings faults. I will not list records less than VG condition unless they are extremely rare.
