Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique discs, this one by Elvis - Love me; Tony Cabot - Anchors aweigh; Tito Puente - That's a Puente / Tony Scott - Rock me but don't roll me; The Three Suns - Happy face baby; Dave Pell - Prom to prom.  There is a narrative between tracks by Elvis Presley, who also sings the first track on side 1.

Several unique things about this auction:  Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with some very light marks  grading by sight in normal room light.   I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim this record is mint.  I took the time to play it and noted a constant very light to light surface nosie with a fair number of very light pops.  With the volume turned up to -20db it was fairly noticeable.  With a normal volume of -30db, it was not very noticeable.  This is using a Denon receiver, Sony turntable, Shure cartridge.  I'd audibly average the two sides at around VG+(excellent) at the -30db normal listening level.  You can assign your own grade based on my comments and the grading scale shown below.

10:09:2016:  I'm adding two more Elvis extended plays with picture sleeves.  Briefly, these two added discs play around VG+ with up to a constant very light surface noise when played at -30db as outlined above.  They play decently, NOT MINT.  You're basically buy these for the records as the two sleeves have a U-shaped water mark front and back that comes up from the bottom edge to nearly half way up the sleeve.  More noticeable on the back.  Rate those sleeves G to VG as they don't have any seam splits, stickers, or pen/pencil marks.  The water mark is what is detracting here.  But, it's better than no sleeve until a better one comes along.  Read on!

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship 7" discs in 12"x10"x3" boxes.  Weight with box is about 14 oz. Shipping is:  $2.61 Media Rate (0-1 pounds) + $1.00 box/tape/packing  = $3.61.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $3.61.  This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online.
