Description
This is my EX / EX, UK copy of PATTO - "HOLD YOUR FIRE" released in 1971 on the SWIRL VERTIGO Records label - 6360032 in STEREO. The wonderful three sectioned non-laminated front sleeve has stood the test of time incredibly well with no loss of colour and no creasing or any signs of ageing at all. Also there is only the very lightest signs of ring-wear on the rear of the sleeve (record holding / lyric sheet) at the very top and bottom. This sleeve is notorious for being easily damaged and I am happy to grade this one EX. The spine is completely readable and is also still very sturdy. The actual edge of the rear (record holding / lyric sheet) part of the sleeve shows very, very light wear, but all four sides are generally in good shape. So a very, very nice sleeve as you can see from the picture. The disc plays incredibly well, with only very little noise in the quietest bits - the bits between the tracks. The vinyl shows one or two very light marks (withdrawl) but again nothing that spoils play. A FANTASTIC copy of this rare album, with the large swirl pattern on the B side, one that I have had proudly in my collection, but now it is time to pass it on! This copy does not have a Swirl inner bag I'm afraid. FIVE STARS FOR THIS LP FROM RECORD COLLECTOR LAST MONTH! Postage will be UK £3.50, Europe £5.50, Rest of World £7.00. I always considered it to be so, particularly when you see the other copies offered as "ex condition" by certain dealers. However I decided when writing the comments (to protect my 100% feedback!)to go the EX / EX route - but in reality, this is as near to MINT as you will ever see - both disc and sleeve!
