on the verve records label, mono pressing, from 1967. 11 tracks. classic first lp by the velvet underground...essential album. cover art and production by andy warhol. this is an early second state mono copy, with the "torso" image removed from back cover (see photo below). cover is VG, with light ring wear/rub wear, moderate seam wear resulting in 2" split in upper right corner, chipping in rest of corners, cut out hole in lower left resulting in light crease, and some light staining in upper right corner. still retains most of banana, with stem missing, and some light creasing. vinyl is strong VG+, with a couple very light paper scuffs, a beautiful copy. vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. email with any questions. check my other auctions...this week i'm offering all manner of PSYCH and ROCK records, some of them are extremely rare, and may not come up for sale again for some time. all records are original pressings unless noted otherwise. all records are shipped in dedicated record mailers, with cardboard inserts. i accept paypal and money orders only. buyer pays shipping. $5.00 priority within the US. $5.00 to canada. $11.00 to europe. $14.00 to japan and australia. please note that i will not ship surface overseas. thanks for looking and good luck.
