the purple hearts:the sound of the purple hearts ep. totally rare and killer original 1966 australian garage punk r'n'b 4 track ep released on the sunshine label with picture sleeve. track listing is:of hopes and dreams and tombstones/i'm gonna try/here tis/long legged baby. featuring 4 fierce garage r'nb rave ups(thinks yardbirds meets the pretty things) this is my opinion is the greatest garage punk ep to ever come out of australia(better than the missing links-you bet!). even better the sleeve is in excellent(ex) condition. the record has very light surface marks(does not affect play in anyway) and a very light indentation on outer edge of vinyl (most people wouldnt even mention it but I thought it would be better to). I would still grade record a strong(vg+) in condition.
