Description

  Paul Chambers Quartet - "Bass on Top" Blue Note 1569 .  Label marked 33-1/3 Micro-Groove Promo , Blue Note Records - 47 West 63rd- NYC . Wax is Stamped : RVG and scribed:  BN - LP- 1569.  Recorded in 1957 the line-up includes:  Kenny Burrell ( guitar ) , Hank Jones ( piano ) , Paul Chambers ( bass ) and Art Taylor ( drums ) . Disc is VG++ , has a very clean label and a few light scratches to the vinyl. A good listen and plays through fine with some pops and surface noise mainly on side b . Cover is Vg++/Ex-  the laminate is shiny with a small bit of separation where there is a small corner split and has a few marks on the cover with very little spinewear and only slight ringware and has a Promo stamp on the back .  All in all a very nice copy.
