Description
For sale is "JAZZ STUDIO 1," on Decca DL 8058, Mono, DG, 1954. With Paul Quinichette, Benny Green, Frank Foster, Joe Newman, Hank Jones, Kenny Clarke, others.
SOUND: VG+ or better. It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Side A starts with a little light crackle. Not ideal, but only the first minute or so: after that, it improves quickly, and becomes a very clean, clear playback. Side plays great all the way.
VINYL: EX or better. Vinyl on both sides looks clean and great condition, with no flaws to mention. Very light handling. Small, deep-grooved labels are clean, no spindles.
JACKET: EX/NM Solid all-around, light wear on corners. Front and back cob=vers clean and unmarked, great condition with light, routine shelf-wear.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
