Description
Here's a set of two Warner Bros. studio acetates containing previously unheard early demos by Paul Williams of a pair of songs he composed with Kenny Asher for the original A Star Is Born. These were likely recorded soon after he wrote the songs: the sheet music bears a 1976 copyright and they're fairly crude recordings—mainly just Paul accompanying himself on piano. Both discs play at 45 rpm, and are in VG+ condition with some storage marks. Listen to a snippet of each below:
