Description
This is the super rare Paul McCartney UK album from 1977 called Thrillington.At the time it was released Percy Thrills Thrillington was credited as the artist and no one knew who he really was. Also the label was the little known EMI subsiduary Regal Zonophone rather than the Apple label.
I think Paul wanted to do something different and slightly off the wall, and he achieved this as album sales were very poor and Percy's identity was kept a secret.Thrillington is an orchestral version of the Ram album and was actually recorded in 1971 not long after the original LP's release.The project was then shelved for another 6 years until he felt the time was right.
This is a really nice example of this hugely rare UK album.The cover is in VG+ Condition with just light ringwear and a little rubbing on some of the writing on the spine.It is still in more than respectable condition.The inner sleeve is in Excellent Condition.The LP visually is in Excellent Condition hardly ever having been played. There a couple of light hairlines and a small scuff mark.Both sides of the record have a little surface noise for a few seconds at the start of each side. Apart from this the record plays brilliantly both sides, so I will grade as Excellent Condition.
Any collector should be proud to own this record and you would be hard pressed to find a better one.
