Description
Pete Brown And His Battered Ornaments: A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In the Dark, released on the Harvest label in 1969. This is an opportunity to purchase this very rare and much sought after progressive rock album. It doesn't appear for sale very often, and especially not in Very Good Condition. This is a genuine 1st pressing (without EMI on the label, which appeared on later versions), Cat number SHVL 752. It is part of my own collection - I have had it since its release, and it has been well looked after.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition, with no jumping or sticking and excellent sound quality throughout the album. There are some minor surface scratches as you would expect of an album of this age, but nothing at all that affects overall listening quality, no significant crackle at all, no clicking or anything like that.
The album cover is a lovely gatefold and is also in Very Good condition, with no rips, tears or splitting, and nothing written on it. There is a small mark at the top right of the front cover where the price tag once was, but otherwise no significant marks, just some minor scuffing at the corners and some minor creasing on the laminate. The spine is in good order and intact, with the artist's name still clear.
