Talking Union The Almanac Singers Dedicated to Joe Hill Album #106 78RPM
A three record set of songs by the Almanac Singers, which included the legendary Pete Seeger. These are songs of labor union organization to better working conditions for the American laborer. Pete was a staunch supporter of labor organizations, and performed at many union functions.
There are lyrics to six of the songs on the inside cover, and some kind of disclaimer on the back inside of the cover.
The 3 discs are clean with no deep scratches, cracks or major scuffs. I do not have a 78 rpm player, so I cannot be certain of the quality of play on these. There are just a couple of small spindle marks on one of the discs, and there are no tears or stains on the sleeves. Some edge and corner wear on the jacket but still solid.
Can't be too many of these fragile old records left in good playable condition. Libraries used to let patrons check out music media, and many were returned in worse condition than when they were taken!
