PETER GABRIEL...........BIKO 6:30 and 4:30/No More Apartheid 7:10............GEFFEN RECORDS ARTISAN SOUND RECORDERS two 1-sided 12" Acetates...TWO DISCS!!!
This is an Ultra-rare set of two 1-sided 12" Artisan Sound Recorders U.S.A. acetates in an embossed heavy slip cover (see description below on acetates). The tracks are as follows: Side A is "Biko" Video mix 6:30 and Edit Ver. 4:30A and side B (second disc)is "No More Apartheid" 7:10. Only a few of these discs are in existence. This is in Near Mint condition with a nice shiny surfaces (see pictures). I am VERY particular (check my feedback) and this is not like the trashed acetates you see so many of that are almost dull in finish from having been played like a record over and over. I obtained this disc back in the mid-1980s and stored it out of the light in protective sleeves. I just checked the sound quality and it was as if I was listing to the first time this track was CUT in the studio. I cannot comment on how unique or similar this is to the released version, but each acetate is unique (see comments on acetates below). This has been stored with care by me in a protective sleeve and in a smoke-free environment. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to obtain an amazing acetate.

"Acetates: Aluminum discs of various sizes (7, 10 or 12 inch) with a thin coating of shellac or vinyl. These discs are not pressed like regular vinyl issues. Instead, they are INDIVIDUALLY cut by the master cutter as a "pre" test pressing to give directions as to how the final cut should go. As such, EACH acetate is unique, and acetates constitute some of the rarest items in the whole field of record collecting."
