Description

Very rare UK Mono pressing of Phil Ochs’ superb 1967 ‘baroque folk’ album – I don’t think I’ve seen another UK copy in 50 years of record collecting. This album was something of a departure for tragic singer/songwriter Ochs, usually known for his 'protest folk' style. The music on this album puts me in mind of Duncan Browne's excellent 1968 album 'Give Me Take You' with its acoustic orchestral arrangements. Matrices are a first pressing A1/B1.

Sleeve Ex Front laminated with flipbacks. In really good shape, minor wear only.
 
Labels Ex Very clean. Moderate but not excessive spindle traces.

Inner VG Polylined bag – possibly the original.

Record Visually VG+, nice shine to the vinyl – some would grade as Ex- or even Ex. Very light hairlines and scuffs only. Plays really well throughout, clear and well-defined audio with some inevitable light crackle at times.
