History of this item.  Fifteen years ago I bought a second hand vintage Garrard record player in Edgbaston, Birmingham UK. The seller was clearing out his deceased father’s villa, and he pointed out that he was also looking to sell a small collection of classic records. I bought the lot, and this Philips twin LP was amongst them. I put the lot in a cupboard and didn’t look at them untill recently. I have never played these records (I am more into contempory) nor cleaned them. The two records look mint to me, and I wonder if they have ever been played, maybe once? There are no signs of usage at all, not even the finest scratch. The labels are crisp and only looking at the close-up photos of the labels did I notice some tiny spindle traces on label 3, which indicates the records have been played at some time in the past. The box contains the libretto. It also still contains the original foam behind the LP’s. This foam is disintegrating, but I left it there. As far as I can tell, the innersleeves are the original ones, I have not replaced them. There is no writing on the box, inside the box, nor on the libretto and the labels: a totally unmarked example!
Packaging.  Because these LP’s are very precious to collectors, I have made sure the records can not move inside their Philips box, using a sheet of bubblewrap and a strip of carton to fill the spaces. The Philips box itself is wrapped in 8 - 10 layers of bubble wrap, after which I added a cardboard strip around the sides to give extra protection to the corners. Finally, I then wrapped the resulting pack with high quality corrugated cardboard, with an extra layer of cardboard and 4 foam blocks inside. The resultng pack will give cushioned protection from knocks, bumps and scrapes during transport. On the parcel I have written ‘Fragile’, ‘Please, handle with care’, and ‘Please, do not bend’.  The parcel dimensions: 42 cm x 35 cm x 8 cm. It weights just under 1100 grams.
Postage and insurance.  I will post tracked/recorded, you have to sign for delivery. I estimate the value between 500 and 800 pounds sterling, and will post the item insured for £1000. It is this insurance that causes the postage to be expensive. especially for international destinations. I will post as follows:
