Description

An original 1975 pressing of DSOTM on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A5/B5. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Also included is the original EMI inner sleeve and both posters and both stickers [please note the stickers are attached to one of the posters]. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In marvellous condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few super light marks in one small patch - and certainly nothing remotely troublesome. What you're looking for with DSOTM is a relatively early copy which is close enough to extract some of that original magic from the masters and one that has been well cared for and preserved to a high level. This copy does exactly that boasting excellent preservation levels and the transparency of those early pressings. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. The audio quality is nothing short of stunning. Interference, thankfully, is practically non-existent. We couldn't detect more than a couple of light crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A truly storming rendition.
Cover (Ex) So, so, difficult to find looking anything close to new. This example acquits itself admirably and manages to almost entirely preserve those lush black surfaces without suffering the usual surface wear you tend to find. Back and front are only exhibiting a couple of tiny thumbnail creases. The interior is in superb condition - no issues at all. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharp. The spine, usually a problem area, is perfectly preserved. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies totally flat. A fantastic specimen.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing at the extremities. No splits.
Posters/Sticker (Ex) This is an overall grading. They are all in fine condition with no issues. Please note the two stickers have been stuck on to one of the posters. Make of this what you will!
