Description
Very early UK pressing of the prog rock classic by Pink Floyd, “The Dark Side Of The Moon”.
Early (2nd) UK pressing from 1973. A3/B3 matrix endings and round title sticker on cover. Gramophone company text on rim.
Matrix numbers;
Side 1: SHVL 804 A-3 4 ROO
Side 2: SHVL 804 B-3 2 OM
Vinyl visually grades as VG+ with quite a few fine, non feelable scuffs and hairlines when viewed under strong light only. Looks very clean in natural light. The record is fully play tested and plays much closer to EX+ with nice clear audio throughout 99.9% of the record. I heard a couple of very light clicks on the first half of side one only and there was no obvious background crackle heard in the quiet sections or spaces between tracks on any of the record. Really nice clear audio throughout. EX overall grade.
The sleeve has very light storage wear only. No major issues at all and grades as EX
Original plain white “patent number” company inner VG+ to EX- with light discolouration.
NO POSTER and only 1 STICKER (see photos). The sticker included is original matte finish with “Permanent” backing.
