Description

Up for auction is the legendary Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab pressing of Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon. MFSL 1-017
Based on the insert this is the 1979 pressing, not the 1982 pressing.
I will try to be as specific as I can on condition of this LP.   First off it looks great.  No scratches, glossy, pretty flawless visually. A few spindle marks are visible on the label. I initially play tested this and it played with more surface noise than you would expect. I gave it a cleaning on a VPI cleaner and the majority of the surface noise was eliminated. It is not dead quiet throughout.  I'm calling it VG+ since any surface noise that is left is only audible during very quiet spots. So there you go. Not a perfectly clean version but still a MOFI DSOTM. 
Cover is VG- due to moderate shelf wear and a 3/4" split at top opening. Original MOFI insert and rice paper sleeve.
