For sale, a 1st pressing copy of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of the Moon.
I've decided to sell as I have another later pressing in my collection. I'm not a dealer but certainly a big fan of vinyl going back may years. I've sold quite a few records on ebay in the past but not recently.
Before listing for sale, I've played it three times back to back and tried to listen as critically as I can. I've uploaded a short video on to this listing and another 4 excerpts onto youtube. Links as below:

It is a genuine A2 B2 first pressing with the midnight blue rather than black sleeve, no sticker to the front cover (even earlier pressing than the stickered versions as far as I am aware), the sleeve is sealed on one side, the inner bag has the correct patent numbers, the stickers have the diagonal lines/crackback logos, the pyramid poster is unreferenced, the group poster has SHVL 804 to the bottom right hand cover.
Run outs are SHVL A-2 HO1 and SHVL B-2 GH3.
Vinyl - nice and glossy but has clearly been played. Visually side 1 is very good indeed with only minor marks, side 2 also looks very good but there is a visible scuff (rather than scratch) approx 2cm long running across the last two tracks. On playback there is a light crackle which is noticeable but not overpowering through the quieter portions of the recording. A few pops but again not overpowering. There appears to be no detrimental sound problem associated with the side 2 scuff (one of the youtube videos has an excerpt from this part of the recording). There is no factory jump during Money which I believe affected some of the A2 B2 pressings. In summary being very cautious I'd grade it as a VG.
Labels - nice and clean with some spindle marking, hopefully this can be seen from the photos.
Inner bag - correct patent numbers and made in Great Britain text. In very good order with just some creasing. No rips or staining.
Outer sleeve - correct lighter black colour. See photo where I've compared to my other later copy (this later copy is not included in this listing!). Some wear to the edges and particularly the bottom front corner. Very slight tear to the bottom right hand edge. The start of some ring wear but this is relatively minor. Left hand side is sealed. Inside of the sleeve is very good. No writing or staining.
Posters - excellent. They look like they've never left the sleeve. No pin holes, rips or staining.
Stickers - again excellent.
To summarise, it's clearly not mint record but a very decent playable copy with the correct sleeve, inner, posters and stickers. Hopefully a worthy addition to anyone's collection.
I've set a price that I think is fair but am open to sensible offers.
It will be very securely packaged for posting (box rather than a flimsy mailer) and will be sent by RM special delivery. I hope you can see from my feedback that I am very careful with packaging.
