Pink Floyd Dark side of the Moon SHVL 804 1st PRESSING SOLID LIGHT BLUE

1st PRESSING Solid light Blue Triangle with GRAMAPHONE label text
1st PRESSING Garrod & Lofthouse Midnight Blue Cover with ORIGINAL STICKER (Many covers Dont have This)
1st PRESSING BLACK POLYTHENE INNER SLEEVE with WHITE Patent PRINT See Photo 3 )
POSTER & STICKERS ARE in MINT condition having been kept in separate folder from NEW SEE PHOTO 6
The vinyl on this album still retains its ORIGINAL BLACK SHINEY FINISH The labels are shown in PHOTOS 1 & 8
I have graded the vinyl as VG mainly due to a scuff mark on side 1 caused by the vinyl catching the corner of the record player
SEE PHOTO 7 where I have tried to show the mark .
There are some faint hairline marks visible when held up to the light on both sides .
I have played the album through TWICE to make sure I didnt miss any faults and to ENJOY it for the last time before it goes.
There are many strange and exciting sounds created by PINK FLOYD throughout this album .
If you have not heard it before please dont think there are faults on the vinyl.
The sound quality is REALLY EXCELLENT on side 1 with just the exception of the very quiet passage at the start of track 1 side 1.
This track starts with complete silence and gradually builds up in volume. During the quiet passage there is some SLIGHT background
AND FAINT clicks on each rotation which disappears as the volume increases after approx 90 seconds.
I think there is a VERY SLIGHT skip two thirds of the way through track 1 . Difficult to tell.
There is some background noise apparent during the very quiet passages but the remainder (which is the vast majority) is SUPERB to listen to.
SIDE 2 is FAULTLESS except again for slight background during the quiet passages AND
at the VERY END of side 2 where the sound fades away and where you need to lift off the record arm.
THIS DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE ENJOYMENT OF LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM
YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY AS I WAS BY THE SOUND OF THIS ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING
The GATEFOLD cover as seen on photo is EXCELLENT condition with an undamaged spine . There is just very SLIGHT wear on the corners
PHOTOS 2 & 9 show pictures of the EXCELLENT CONDITION of the front and rear of the cover
THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION SEE PHOTO 5
It has the original Purple sticker and is the MIDNIGHT BLUE colour Picture 4 Shows the difference between this and the later BLACK covers
Picture 9 shows the Excellent condition of the rear of the cover
The ORIGINAL inner sleeve has the WHITE patent numbers on it SEE Photo 3 It has NO split seams or tears .
THIS ALBUM IS GENUINELY WORTH SERIOUS CONSIDERATION. I have tried to cover every aspect of the album so you can make a real choice.
