Description

An original 1st issue of Meddle on UK Harvest. Matrix A/B3. "Gramophone" in the perimeter label text - indicative of 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in a fully semi-textured cover [some copies are more heavily textured]. We also have an original inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen light use. A couple of slight marks per side - nothing noticeable or heavy looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. This is difficult to find with a lot of the Floyd Lps. It is playing clean pretty consistently - even into the fussiert lowkey moments. The only issues I picked up was five clicks midway through "Seamus". And a few crackles early in 'Echoes'. Otherwise - it is highly accomplished.
Cover (Ex-) In lovely condition, and again, it's not every day one appears looking this tidy. Front and rear are really nice and flat with minimal signs of handling. The interior is looking superb - so so many copies will tan a little or a lot. This example has escaped the ageing process - just a couple of tiny blemishes on the extreme right. Edge wear is almost totally absent - which is very unusual on this title. The openings are still sharpish and nice and firm. The spine has faded a touch - but all text still perfectly legible. It is looking way better than the usual standard that surfaces. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A really super copy.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. A one inch bottom edge split has been taped up..
