Description

For sale is a great sounding original 1967 U.K. mono press of Pink Floyd’s debut album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

Very early copy with 1R/1M stampers

Experts rate this original mono mix as superior to the concurrent stereo mix.

Original flipback sleeve in VG+ condition with bend to one corner only issue.

Record labels are VG with minor spindle wear.

Visually the record grades VG- both sides as there are many light scuffs and hairlines.

Sonically, however, side 1 is VG+, with only occasional light crackles noticeable in quiet passages and between tracks

Side 2 sonically is VG with a few more crackles and pops than side 1 but no noticeable clicks sticks skips or jumps.

Still an enjoyable listen all round.
