Black & blue Columbia label - SX 6157
With 'Sold in UK..' label text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims
'KT' tax/price code on side 1 label.
Rare, early 'Ernest J. Day' printed, tri-flipback mono cover without the 'File Under..' text on the upper flipback.
Complete with original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
Aside from some small age marks, both labels have barely any spindle wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Totally pristine & unmarked clean & glossy surfaces in daylight. A few wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines are visible directly under halogen light, but there are no significant marks or any scratches anywhere on this rarely played copy.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
This superb copy has recieved just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and there is no major or significant deterioration to the sound on any track. The only fault I could find was a touch of light background in the quieter sections of 'Interstellar Overdrive'. However the loud frequencies are clear and undistorted. Both run-ins & all bands play extremely quietly with no heavy clicks or other intereference. There are no clicks, pops, jump or any other significant or major audible faults anywhere.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Clean & strong & undamaged cover with a bright, glossy front laminate which bears some light wrinkles and a single bend to the lower left corner. The corners themselves are clean & square and both opening edges are sharp & unworn. The rear panel has a few light handling marks and light marking around the edges where someone has attempted to clean the flipbacks. However, there is no writing or missing paper. There is some slight age discolouration to the flipback egdes but all are intact. Both seams & the spine are clean unstressed, unsplit & undamaged.
