Description
This is a Uk very early pressing of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn Pink Floyd. EMI Columbia 1967 (thought it was first pressing but have since found out that the cover of the first pressing has no writing at top right)
The laminated Gate fold cover is in very good condition, there are a couple of crease marks in the laminate and a small tear on front bottom right 7mm in length. Back is in very good condition, top left corner words, file under POPULAR : pop groups, below this SCX6157. Bottom right corner, 6709TPS printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd London SX 6157/SCX 6157
Matrix number SIDE 1 YAX 3419 - 1 SIDE 2 YAX 3420 - 1
I have had this for over 20 years and have looked after it. There are a few light surface scratches but it plays good to very good with the occassional back ground noise.
The centre of the record has Columbia in blue with the blue and black 'note' columbia trade mark, also SCX 6157
This is a quality and very rare item and is overall in very good condition for something 45 years old.
