Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Quadrophonic Vinyl LP - 1976 - Q4SHVL 814 A3/B2
All in very good condition for it's age although there are a fair few bloom marks on the inner sleeve I guess from storage .
Have played through fully recently to check and it plays really nicely with minimal background noise (very few pops & cracks but nothing drastic) and also really doesn't look like its been played much at all. It has been checked on a decent turntable as well.
Vinyl nice and clean/shiny, hairline scratches on both sides only visible in really bright/sun light and one that is more visible in daylight on side A, none of which affect play. I have managed to capture the visible scratch in one of the pictures.
Record has been stored in a plain white sleeve (not the original card inner) since I have had it and will be sent in this.
There is a minor warp/ripple in one place on the record that seems to be slightly more visible when playing side A, but has no effect on sound at all, stylus just bobs lightly a couple of times mainly towards the outer edge.
Minor marks on label due to age I think mainly. Look like bloom marks and I've taken a close up of side A which looks worse than it really does at normal distance. I would have included side B but can only have 12 pictures!
Runout IDs:
- SIDE A: QHVL 814 A-3 HTM (etched)
- SIDE B: QHVL 814 B-2
- There are some other minor markings on each runout but not really that distinguishable so haven't included in case I misread them.
Has nearly all of the original shrink wrap intact as you can see in the pictures along with original post card and inner sleeve.
All in all a great copy for a real fan/collector as pictures hopefully demonstrate. Please ask any questions if I've missed something you'd like to know. I have tried to be as accurate as possible with this listing.
I enjoy collecting older vinyl and aware this is quite a rare/sought after version that I've had tucked away unplayed for a few years now, but it doesn't mean enough to me so I would rather someone who is looking for a copy gets a chance to have it.
