The outer sleeve is the first variant, which is noted by the pinched spine and is in excellent condition as it is still encased in its original black shrinkwrap after all these years!
The labels are the first variant which shows "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" song-writers credit for 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' (Side 1 Part 5). Which was subsequently changed on later pressings for just "Waters". They are absolutely stunningly clean and have amazing spindle holes .
The matrix numbers on the vinyl show that this is a UK first A1 B5 pressing. The mother stamper codes also suggest that the record was produced very early in the manufacturing line.
Included is the often missing post card with crinkle cut edges - great condition with a crease to one corner.
The original card inner sleeve, with a notch to the top edge and which is die-cut on three of the four corners. It is in excellent condition with a seam split starting to the bottom edge.
Yhe vinyl has a beautiful glossy sheen in appearance, and sits completely flat with no warping. Labels and spindle holes are lovely! There are a couple of light non feelable surface lines but nothing overly notable.
OVERALL, A FANTASTIC AND COMPLETE SET PIECE OF MUSICAL HISTORY TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION!!!
