Description
Purchased in Minneapolis at the Uptown location (?) of Cheapo Records upon release, this double vinyl comes in the rare double-wide cardboard sleeve. I remember a basement party where a bunch of hardcore DJs we knew were swept away and dancing to Arigato We Love You. The power of Pizzicato Five right?
Real talk, the art on each part of this outer sleeve is terrific; as a result, it's been displayed a bit. It's a big single cardboard sleeve for two vinyls and shows wear along edges. On the front and back you'll notice light ring wear, honestly I'm lost in their eyes when viewing this work of art so I noticed it only now.
Inner sleeves are sturdy, no splits, but each shows noticeable but slight yellowing on front and back outside of the place where the two disks sit. That is, they've remained white where the records sit. See photos please.
Vinyl disks play with no skips and sound great. A cleaning will solve any dust on their surfaces.150 gram. More excellent art on their labels.
Note: This is the first full Pizzicato Five album released on Matador Records simultaneously with its Readymade Records release in Japan. So it's the same music content as its Japanese CD-only counterpart release. Want this on vinyl? This is the one!
