I think this is probably a 4th UK mono pressing. Rarely found in this condition.
Firstly, the record:
Visually very pleasing. Nothing much more significant than shallow surface marks on both sides- no deep impact damage. Not much of significance. Also I have taken the time & expense to get it professionally cleaned so you don't have to. The labels are clean and unmarked but showing slight spindle wear.
This record has been play tested from start to finish (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it sounds pretty glorious to me. No noteworthy sound deterioration - you won't find many better sounding 56 year old records than this in a hurry. Barely even any surface noise.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Ernest J Day flipback. Really superb. Still fresh, clean, strong, undamaged & unmarked. Good sharp spine. The pictures tell a thousand words.
The original emitex inner is the most clean & crisp I've ever come across - in fact I've been tempted to switch it into my own collection.
Further notes:
Unusual ZKT crossover tax code.
This is probably one of the better copies on eBay at the moment. Next upgrade would probably be a black & gold label copy. A great addition to any collection.
