Ultra Rare UK Private Pressing
This LP was recorded to promote some local unsigned bands in Essex, England. Unsuprisingly it is now extremely rare with only a handful being made at the time, and only the first I have seen in 25+ years.
Fortunately this compilation has some great tracks on it ranging from screaming hard NWOBHM such as the awesome Avalon, and Landslide, The Sweat Band who sound more like Progressive Rock/Blues, post Punk DIY through to Minimal Synth and New Wave/Pop Twee type stuff.
As far as I know they are unavailable elsewhere so grab this LP while you can as it is hardly every offered for sale.

SWITCH - WAITING TILL YOU WANT ME - New Wave sound.
LANDSLIDE - BAND OF GOLD - GREAT New Wave Of British Heavy Metal sound with loud guitars and screaming vocals.
INCENSE - TIME AND AGAIN - Good Indie Pop C86 TWEE sound like Haircut 100.
AVALON - I KNOW YOU'RE THERE- Fantastic NWOBHM sound, this band also released a VERY RARE NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL single.
LEGACY - LOOKIN' - Great INDIE POP C86 TWEE sound with horns like Friday Club.
RARE PLEASURES - THE ALTERNATIVE - Amazing MINIMAL SYNTH sound, like TRANSPARENT ILLUSION !!!
SIDE TWO:
SABOTEUR - HEAR WHAT THEY SAY - Synth Pop sound.
THE SWEAT BAND - I'M ALIVE - Fantastic hard rock which leans more towards Prog Rock/Blues and sounds earlier than the date, loud guitars, guitar solo, and screaming vocals all the way.
BEAU MONDE - BURNING CITIES - Dark Wave sound with Synth like Joy Division.
TRIDENT - FOLLOW ME FOLLOW YOURS- Post Punk DIY sound like Raincoats.
THE PORTRAITS - FRAMED - DIY PUNK sound like TV Personalities.
CONDITION
VINYL:- EX(-)/EX
The vinyl is in great condition and to have been played very little, it has a bit of styatic dust on it and on side 1 there is a feelable scratch mark on tracks 1 & 2 that causes a few ticks on track one, otherwise the record sounds great with only occasional static crackle and a couple of very small ticks on The Porttraits Framed.
COVER:- EXCELLENT
The cover is in very nice condition, nice and clean with some very light signs of ageing and very minor creasing.
