Description
I have not played this ever. The sleeve has small staple holes near the "P" in Prince (see pics) and very superficial ring wear on front. Back of sleeve is like new. Sharp corners.
Record is glossy and label is clean. Overall a beautiful copy.
This is Prince' very first single from 1978. It is not a reissue, it is the original pressing. As far as I can tell, the picture sleeve is not circulating at all. It is possibly a bootleg--there is no record of it existing. I bought it in 1997 with a lot of other Prince promo stuff. Whether it is official or unofficial, it certainly is rare. (I tried to add it to Discogs once but was shot down and it was tagged as "fake". It is not listed on Sleevographia either. Until there is some sort of official Warner Bros illustrated Prince discography, those are the best resources I know of. Be aware before bidding).
