Description
UK 1963 Columbia release (SAX 2533 - Red and Black Semi Circle) of 'Prokofiev Piano Concertos No.3 in C, Op.26 and No.5 in G, Op.55', performed by Samson Francois with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Witold Rowicki. Record is in vg++ condition. The playing surface is clean and shiny with no marks. There is some slight surface noise and the v.occasional light crackle during the quieter passages and a very occasional light tick can be heard, but none of them repeat. Have a listen to the soundclip to hear the album in it's entirety. This should give you a better idea of the record's condition. No eq has been used. It has been cleaned on a VPI machine and the soundclip here was recorded after it was cleaned. Sleeve is vg+, due to a small tearing of the laminate on the front cover (just under a cm in length, around the middle of the opening) and along the front side of the opening, the laminate has peeled slightly (see photo), v.light ring wear and discolouration of the back sleeve.
