Description

This Public Image Ltd. Metal Box Set is a first pressing from 1979, featuring 3 discs of vinyl in a metal tin embossed with the PIL logo. It's in splendid shape - please see photos. Vinyl is slightly dusty, but unblemished in brilliant more-or-less unplayed condition, as far as I can see. 


Please see photos of the runouts which confirm it is a first pressing from 1979. I'd prefer the new owner to clean the vinyl, so I'm leaving the dust where it is. No dings, scrapes, scratches or anything like that. 


The metal case is in really good order, showing the usual aging that comes with it being 47 years old. It has a spot of paint on the top left back, which can be removed by the new owner. 


The original tin container and the low-fi red inked paper menu being complete, with minor wear and tears. Small tear to bottom of sheet, less than inch long. No paper missing. 


This box set is a must-have for fans of Public Image Limited. It's an wonderfully one-off, genius-level product, if slightly awkward to handle.... much like the band themselves.
