Description

Released internationally in 1970 on the Vault label, Ja Da A Da stands as the historic debut album by Swedish singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist Pugh Rogefeldt. Originally released in Sweden in 1969, this groundbreaking record shattered contemporary conventions by featuring rock music sung entirely in the Swedish language, laying a foundational blueprint for the entire Scandinavian progressive and psychedelic rock scenes. Backed by exceptional studio musicians including Jojje Wadenius, the tracks blend infectious pop melodies with avant garde studio experimentation, bluesy folk elements, and heavy psychedelic grooves. Standout tracks such as Love, Love, Love and Haer Kommer Natten showcase Rogefeldt s unique vocal phrasing and eccentric songwriting style. This rare American pressing remains factory sealed with its vintage target price sticker intact. While the shrinkwrap shows some tearing and the corners display light storage wear, the unplayed vinyl inside makes this an incredibly scarce collector copy of a continental European rock masterpiece.
