An uber-rare opportunity to bid for this original U.K. 12" copy of Q Lazzarus's beautiful song,

'Goodbye Horses'! Not only do you get the extended 6:28 version, but also the original 4:20, 7" version,

as well! Oh, and 4:35's worth of 'White Lines'!

Bought second-hand, it has just been carefully stored ever since and only played once to check the

audio quality for this sale!

Something of a cult record and, consequently, hugely sought-after and collectable, the song was used

in the film 'Silence Of The Lambs', as well as other movies such as 'Married To The Mob', 'Clerks II' and

'Maniac'. It has also featured in the computer games 'Grand Theft Auto IV' and 'Skate 3'.

Sleeve: Thin card with the front cover showing a colour portrait photo of Q Lazzarus wearing what looks like a black

and gold scarf over a black top, together with a black floppy hat. Her right hand is holding the metal bars of what may

be a gate or cage. The background shows yellow-ish walls covered in graffiti. The artist's name appears in a long pale

cream box, top-left, with the letter 'Q' in tan above the word 'LAZZARUS' in black italics, followed by a tan, five-pointed

star and a black dot. The song title is printed across the bottom in tan capitals, with the strap line, FROM THE MOVIE

'SILENCE OF THE LAMBS' below, in smaller, uppercase tan text. The back cover repeats the artist's name layout, with

the box printed centre-top-right. The barcode (5 022117 00563) is shown, top-right, with the catalogue number

immediately below. Track listing lines up under the artist's name, with another reference to the song being from 'Silence

Of The Lambs' at the bottom. Four small colour photos of the band members are down the left-hand side and there is a

small figure of a man carrying an umbrella in the bottom-right corner. The background of the rear face is pale cream,

mottled with tan. The sleeve is in fantastic condition for 23 years of age! It is intact with no tears, splits or repairs! There

are one or two small, light, surface-only creases on the front face, along with some light ring marks, but they are not

immediately noticeable at first glance, unless the cover is angled to the light. There is a very small black mark in the top-

right corner of the front face, which may be from a marker pen, possibly from a hastily, hand-written, historical price sticker!

Aside from these issues, the sleeve has survived the 'nineties', 'naughties' and 'naughteens' very well! 

Matrix Numbers: Side 1 - ANR I T A-I. A mark which looks like NB or may be NXB appears almost directly opposite.

Side 2 - ANR I T B-I

Vinyl: Clean and shiny, with no major visible faults! Plays without any noticeable audio issues

on my high-end deck, at normal volume!

Labels: Intact and unmarked, apart from what may be a short, faint spindle mark by the hole on

Side 1!
