Description
This is a great opportunity to own one of Queen’s classic albums, purchased by me as a first pressing in 1976. Although I own many Queen albums I have rarely played this particular record during the last five decades. As always I will provide an honest assessment of the quality of the vinyl and the cover, allowing both buyer and seller to understand exactly what is on offer.
Having play graded the album I can confirm it plays throughout with no scratches, pops or clicks and the level of surface noise is minimal throughout. There are many quiet passages on the album that would easily highlight any signs of wear. The album has been played on the best equipment I could afford and stored correctly at all times. The dynamics and clarity of Freddie’s voice shine throughout and the production is at a very high level on this first pressing.
The outer cover has no ring wear at all and the only minor signs of age is near the spine and the writing on the spine is clearly legible. The inside of the cover is extremely well preserved and the thick card, die cut on one side, with radial cut corner is as good as new. I have used a new inner sleeve to look after the quality of the vinyl.
The back cover shows Available on Tape and 7612 G&L in the bottom left and right corners. Please see photos for confirmation.
