In 1984, FORTY years ago, the legendary progressive and glam rock band Queen released a greatest hits album for the European market. It quickly became a collector's item, as it wasn't released anywhere else. A 'gift', if you will, to Queen's fans in Bulgeria and the surrounding area. It was made in (West) Germany, but released on the Bulgerian label Balkanton. It was so much in demand that a second 'boot' version was released. And how can we tell which is which? There's two ways...

The original first version has the word Marshall (the name of the amps) FIVE times on the A side. And you can see a part of Brian May's left hand, also on the A side. The second boot version completely cuts off Brian's left hand, and the word Marshall can only be seen FOUR times. Which one is this? Just check out the pics...

This vintage Queen picture disc is in really, really good shape! I can only see one or two very, very light surface marks on it. Nothing bad, or deep. Hardly noticable, actually! No heavy scratches, gouges, or scuffs. The colors are still vivid and the A side pic of the band is awesome! Queen, doing what they do best...I can't vouch for the sound quality, as I never play specialty vinyl, such as pic discs or colored records. And older pic discs usually sound pretty bad, with lots of surface noise. Just to let you know that this may not sound that good. Just an incredible Queen collectible to own!

(RIP Freddie. You were truly a rock and roll superstar, with an amazing talent. You influenced many others, but there will only ever be ONE Freddie Mercury. You are still missed, over three decades later!)
