This plays EX...The sleeve is EX minus...

First pressings of this classic album have several characteristics which are absent on later pressings..They are as follows..

The matrix numbers are:..YAX 4881 3U and YAX 4882 4U..

The sleeve is fully laminated with a VERY thin spine and the spine wording is on the spine AND on the top edge..

The inner sleeve must have 3 angled corners and one square corner..

This copy has all these..It's a first press....

Issued by EMI  on 8th December 1974..EMC 3061..UK pressing in a fully laminated sleeve..Complete with lyric inner sleeve.

The mothers and stampers are: 2 00 and 1 A...These are low and show that this copy was one of the earlier ones off the press..

Play grade:..EX+..It's a clean playing disc with no audio defects or damage and a clean,undistorted sound..Have a listen to the sound clip..

Visual grade:..EX minus..There are a couple of light hairlines,but NO serious scratches,scuffs or other damage..The disc still has a nice sheen and it's plain that this disc has been well looked after..

The labels:..EX..They are clean and undamaged with clearly legible text..There is moderate spindle wear,but it's not excessive..

The sleeve:..EX minus..It has light dischape and a few light laminate creases,but no serious defects or damage..

There are no rips,tears,seam splits,sellotape,stains,tape marks or scribble..The spine is square with clearly legible text,the colours are bright and unfaded..It's a clean and tidy sleeve..

The inner sleeve is VG..There is a seam split to the middle of the bottom edge and there is a small tear to one end of the thumb flap..The white has a little age fading..

UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or collect it from The Southend Record Fair (13th October) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..

The Russian Federation is also having delays on deliveries ..This is due to the sheer volume of parcels going into the Federation..Again,expect delays!.

Shipping

All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!
