Seattle hard rock and heavy metal legends Queensryche formed a little over FORTY years ago, in 1982. They released a couple of albums before breaking big with their third effort titled 'Operation: Mindcrime' in 1988. That metal masterpiece turned THIRTY FIVE this year! It was hard, fast, and loud...yet also melodic, and at times mellow. It showed the diversity of the lyrics, the talent of the band members, and how there was a story being told. It's a great concept album, and still sounds amazing all these years later!

Coming at you today is a copy of that 80s hard rock and metal release, on a picture disc LP! A very limited number off these were made, which is why sellers can ask for around $100 when they put these up for sale here on eBay. This copy will come in a generic clear plastic sleeve. The vinyl looks very, very good, but with the colors, it's hard to tell. I see no scratches, gouges, or scuffs. I cannot vouch for the sound quality, as I never play specialty vinyl such as pic discs and colored records. And the early pic discs from the 70s and 80s usually sound terrible, anyway! This is a rare collectible, and not really made to spin. But go ahead, if you want to...it's your call! (I'll suggest finding a remastered copy on CD.)

I'll also add a couple of bonuses. First up is the 1994 (almost THIRTY year old!) release of the song "Bridge", on a 7" picture disc, and in a special PVC jacket with a pocket that holds the record, and a MASSIVE poster! The poster is 40" top to bottom, and 61" across! It's from the next to last album to feature the classic lineup of Geoff Tate, Chris DeGarmo, Scott Rockenfield, Eddie Jackson, and Michael Wilton, titled 'Promised Land'. (The same lineup from 'Operation: Mindcrime'!) The vinyl record looks great, and may not have ever been played. Poster and sleeve also look fantastic! Several members of Queensryche have been in and out of the band since 1997's album 'Hear in the Now Frontier', but the band is still around to this very day, (with new members). Still releasing new music, and still touring!

And last in this incredible deal, you'll receive a copy of 'Kerrang' magazine, from the UK, and the 1988 issue with Geoff Tate on the cover! It's full of interesting articles, from Britain's perspective, and was one of the best 80s metal and hard rock magazines around!
