Detailed Condition Report:

Vinyl Media: NEAR MINT (NM)

The vinyl is in flawless, museum-grade condition with brilliant factory gloss. This is a true one-owner archive copy, having been played only one or two times strictly to record the audio onto another format before being carefully archived. There are zero handling marks, hairline scratches, or spindle trails. It plays like a brand-new record.

Jacket / Sleeve:

EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT MINUS (EX / NM-)The jacket is incredibly bright, crisp, and vibrant, preserved completely within its original retail shrink wrap (neatly opened along the mouth side for play access).

Please Note: Due to the natural tightening of the original factory shrink wrap over the past 40+ years, there is some bowing to the right side of the cardboard jacket. The vinyl record inside remains perfectly flat and completely unaffected. There is slight ring wear, but no split seams, or corner bumping.

Lyric Insert: NEAR MINT (NM)

The original, rare 2-page foldout lyric insert is fully intact, crisp, clean, and free of any tears, yellowing, or writing.

About This Pressing:

This is an exceptional copy of the 1974 U.S. first pressing featuring the collectible Elektra "Butterfly" labels and the famous "Brighten Rock" typo on the Side 1 label. Finding a copy with this specific, documented minimal play history and a preserved jacket is incredibly rare.

Shipping & Packaging:

The record will be safely removed from the jacket prior to shipping to prevent any seam splits during transit. Packed securely in a professional, heavy-duty cardboard record mailer with extra cardboard layers above and below the record. Ships via USPS Media Mail with tracking and insurance.
