QUINCY JONES: SOUNDS... AND STUFF LIKE THAT Nimbus Supercut Audiophile LP

Extremely rare Audiophile re-issue of the classic 1978 Quincy Jones album that fused jazz, soul and disco with a host of great musicians.

This 'Supercut' series was a unique mastering and pressing, specially commisioned by Practical Hi-Fi magazine to sell direct to their discerning readers.

NIMBUS SUPERCUT LP QUINCY JONES SOUNDS...And Stuff Like That. CONDITION:  NM - LP. Only played a couple of times. I bought 2 copies at the time so this one that I have up for sale was kept as my spare.  NM - Cover.  NM - inside lyric sheet.
A&M Records AMLH64685. stamped nimbus england in the dead wax  One of the best smooth and contemporary jazz funk lps out there. Incredible sonic accuracy and dark sound stage!

TRACKS:
Stuff Like That   I'm Gonna Miss You In The Morning  Love, I Never Had It So Good  Tell Me A Bedtime Story   Love Me By Name  Superwoman (Where Were You When I Needed You)  Takin' It To The Streets ----------------------------------------------
This is serious audiophile territory and I played it ( not this particular copy I might add! ) a lot at Hi-Fi shows that I exhibited at. Fantastic line-up of musicians : Herbie Hancock, Eric Gale, Hubert Laws, Tom Scott, Steve Gadd, Ralph MacDonald, Richard Tee, Michael Brecker, Anthony Jackson and many more. Vocalists: Nick Ashford, Valerie Simpson, Chaka Kahn, Patti Austin, Gwen Guthrie, Luther Vandross, Charles May.
With that line-up you know you're in for some good tunes.
This album doesn't come up for sale that often especially one in this condition so add it to your Nimbus Supercut collection, like fine wine they will only go up in value. When they're gone they're gone so don't miss out.
I played my other copy of this the other night on my newly set-up system. Cranked up it sounded awesome. Stevie Wonder's 'Superwoman' was as good as it get's and the The Doobie Brother's 'Takin' It To The Street' was off the scale!
Insured postage is £9.50. I have used  the same courier service for 16 years as I find them safer and faster, usually next day. If preferred buyer can arrange own postage/delivery, but I won't be held responsible if it went astray/missing.
