Description

This is an incredibly rare one sided UK 10" 78rpm acetate by Quintette of Hot Club of France titled When Day Is Done  released on Phonetics Lab. Kings College label in Feb 1938. This features the music of Django Reinhardt on guitar
and Stéphane Grappelli on violin. It was originally released as the B side of Solitude on HMV B.8669 in 1937
but I am not sure if this is an exclusive and different version to that tune, which is a Foxtrot.
The disc is in pretty good condition for it's age, no scratches or marks, only the signs of some play wear
but it's still perfectly playable and I would grade it in VG+ condition, there is a small sign of the metal plate  on the blank rear but otherwise this is a lovely and incredibly scarce disc and it comes in a plain brown paper sleeve.
