THIRD ALBUM from this wonderfully effective hard rock supergroup featuring Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, drummer Cozy Powell and vocalist Ronnie James Dio. The material is stellar, ranging from volatile epic hard rock tracks such as 'Kill The King' and 'LA Connection' to more evocative songs like 'Rainbow Eyes' and the weirdly constructed but hugely compelling 'Gates Of Babylon'.
Blackmore is on fire at every turn whilst Ronnie James Dio makes full use of that distinctive roar positioning himself as one of the definitive hard rock vocalists. I bought this album when it first came out, as a devout Blackmore worshiper I couldn't have wished for a better record even following the fire and brimstone of 'Rainbow Rising'.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition - possibly unplayed. No spindle marks and no other signs of any use. Grades as shop fresh MINT-!
Cover: Again, virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated textured gate-fold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly straight, stiff and totally uncrushed. Displays just a hint of storage and handling wear. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 41 years after release. Grades as Ex+
